The National Women’s Department calls women everywhere to embrace a relationship with Jesus through the theme: “Redeemed!”  The theme verse comes from Isaiah 43:1: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you, I have summoned you by name; You are mine.” Salvation is an astounding gift to any person who calls on the name of Jesus. But there is so much more to salvation than just being saved from punishment. Consider what it looks like to embrace our Redeemer—how we can drink in His grace, embrace the fullness of His love, and consume His Word. Jesus wants us to embrace a relationship with Him that will completely transform every part of our lives.

To help women understand the concept of redemption, Kerry Clarensau, National Women’s Director, has written a book: Redeemed! Embracing a Transformed Life. Each chapter of this hardback book has a video introduction that is accessible with a QR code. Chapters also include group discussion questions, five daily readings with prayers and Scriptures for meditation, and personal reflection questions with space for journaling. A companion DVD with teaching videos will also be available. Visit myhealthychurch.com to order the book and other theme products, such as mug, bookmark, poster, t-shirts, and more! A companion DVD with teaching videos will also be available.

The 2013 National Women’s Day service gives an opportunity for every church to honor its women and encourage them to expand ministries. National Women’s Day also allows each congregation to give an offering to support the Assemblies of God National Women’s Department. These offerings help continue the ministries provided to women across the nation and around the world.
