Special Call to Fasting and Prayer

In view of unprecedented political, economic, moral and spiritual challenges in our nation, the National Prayer Center is urging believers across our Fellowship to observe a 10-day period of prayer and fasting from Sunday, October 26 through Tuesday, November 4 (Election Day). As God's people, we must be diligent about following the prescriptions of 2 Chronicles 7:14 and seek God's forgiveness, help and favor through prayerful contrition, repentance and fasting. Only then can healing and restoration come.

We are encouraged to fast at least one meal per day or observe other fasts during this 10-day period. Download fasting guidelines, along with prayer guides for the elections, our nation and the current economic crisis. Feel free to print these items for distribution in your church or prayer group (note that the fasting guidelines consist of two pages, formatted for easy two-sided printing on a letter-sized sheet of paper).
